At SGCC Board Election, we believe that golf is more than just a game - it's a community. That's why we're proud to sponsor local tournaments and events and support youth golf programs in our area.

I was VP of Marketing for Pepsi! (Little company, eh?) I created a persuasive marketing and communications campaign to gain new retailers AND soft drink consumers so that we could overtake Coke... And guess what? WE DID JUST THAT!
At our Club, we must VASTLY IMPROVE MEMBER COMMUNICATION!
- Members deserve timely, meaningful information! No more "Invited" or financial health, F&B or staff surprises!
- MY PLEDGE TO YOU: I will fill The Sett with meaningful, concise member information, and send it to all members via e-mail TWICE A MONTH! And put color copies in our lobby and the member lounge. If there's good news, I'm gonna tell you! If there's bad news, I'm gonna tell you that too! AND to our shortcomings and challenges I'm gonna propose prompt SOLUTIONS!
- We NEED new members! Whether 400 members is the right number, or more, or less, we MUST HAVE a waiting list of golfers EAGER to join! There is ALWAYS going to be member turnover for lots of reasons. We have to FILL THOSE SPOTS right away, and keep the cash flow flowing in our direction!
- MY PLEDGE TO YOU: Working with staff, I'll ramp up our "new member solicitation" program. We should be CONSISTENTLY marketing to Toll Brothers, Caughlin Ranch, affluent executives and business owners, casino connections and more! And, as ArrowCreek goes through its woes, we should be inviting those members up to our club for a great round with our great members! New member solicitation doesn't have to be EXPENSIVE; but it MUST be CONSISTENT and ONGOING!
The Club cannot continue to keep members "in the dark" about things. The Club is YOUR CLUB! The Board MUST communicate with members on a timely and honest basis.
We MUST retain a full membership, with a waiting list.
Those are my priorities. That's where I've had professional success at the highest level. So that's what I'll do for our Club!
